ECLISPE- Five friends, Lisa Larsen, Billie Miller, Bill Long, Ray Flaherty and Kalie Reed excitedly examine the sky on April 8, 2024 before totality is reached. Larsen, Miller, Long and Flaherty planned traveling to Quakertown park from Montana in 2017 to examine the eclipse for celebrating Miller and Flaherty’s birthday’s and made friends with Reed after gifting her with a pair of eclipse glasses. “We have had a 50 year long friendship and we still feel young. Celebrating with my friends while watching my first eclipse has been my best birthday yet,” Miller said. “ You know aging is like the eclipse it goes by and then suddenly it is totality.” By Alaina Jones
