As a photojournalist, I have spent the past two years in the pursuit of documenting raw emotion, genuine connection, our relationship with animals and the natural world. Photography allows us to capture a moment with perfect honesty. My work is an attempt at the preservation of something otherwise ephemeral. It is up to the viewer to fill in the gaps -- everything just out of frame, or invisible to the eye.
Through my photography, I strive to evoke emotion and create a sense of connection. I hope my images resonate with viewers, stirring something deep within the heart.
I earned an Associate of Arts Degree from Tarrant County College and am currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Photojournalism at the University of North Texas. I serve as the Co-Managing Editor for the Hatch Visuals Photography Agency and am currently interning with Heart Media.
Previously, I worked as a Staff Photojournalist and Senior News Writer for the North Texas Daily. I was also honored to be one of two students selected from the Mayborn College of Journalism to apply for the Hearst Photojournalism Award. I am recipient of the 2025-2026 Outstanding Senior in Photojournalism by the Mayborn School of Journalism at UNT.
My goal is to graduate this upcoming June 2025 with a Bachelor's degree in Photojournalism and a minor in Business from the University of North Texas. Upon graduation, I aspire to join a newspaper or magazine company where I can continue to grow my skills and make a meaningful impact through multimedia journalism.
Long-term, I am interested in pursuing a graduate degree after gaining practical experience in the field. My ultimate goal is to teach photojournalism, sharing my knowledge and experiences with the next generation of photographers while continuing to create impactful work.
